Excellent Year 6 results!

We are very proud to be able to inform you that our end of year SATs results for our Y6 pupils (summer 2015) are brilliant!

This year group were the first set of pupils to go all the way through Epping Primary School, starting in Reception in our newly formed primary school. We consider these pupils to be the true measure of the learning that happens in our school, having benefitted from all the opportunities and teaching we have to offer right through from Rec – Y6.

Y6 results...

• were higher than 2013 and 2014
• showed that more pupils attained higher levels than in previous years
• showed that disadvantaged pupils achieved as well as their peers – so we are enabling all learners to achieve
• showed good progress across the years
• showed good attainment

We would like to say a big thank you to all the teachers and staff who have been involved with these pupils and have helped them on their learning journey through Epping Primary School. We would also like to thank all the parents who have supported these pupils, at home and at school, to achieve these results.

Our improving data has also been noted by the Local Authority who has sent a letter of congratulations to the school saying "Your school is one of only 57 schools in Essex to achieve this level of improvement ...... Congratulations to you and your colleagues on this success, we know that achieving high standards and significant improvement with children is very demanding."
