"What should I do if my child arrives late?"
If you arrive late for school you will need to report to the school office to gain access to the school. Pupils and parents/carers are encouraged to make every effort to arrive at school on time and ensure pupils are collected on time as lateness can be very disruptive to the class or child.
"What should I do if my child is ill?"
- Call the School Office by phone on 01992 572 408 on the first day of absence before 9.20am, when our register closes.
- Contact the school on every further day of absence, again before 9.20 am
- Ensure that your child returns to school as soon as possible and you provide any medical evidence, if requested, to support the absence. Medical evidence may be requested where your child is having multiple periods of absence which are reported as being due to medical reasons.
"What should I do when my child is absent?"
It is in your child's best interest to attend school for the maximum number of days possible, however, we do recognise that on rare or special occasions you may need to apply to the Headteacher for a leave of absence from the school. Please see the Forms page for more information.
For other reasons for absence e.g. dentist, hospital appointments etc. please inform the school in advance.
"Where is Lost Property kept?"
Lost property is kept in the school office. At the end of term, unclaimed items are taken to a recycling centre.
