Wellbeing week - February 2020
Another wonderful few days for our latest wellbeing week, full of challenging, relaxing and inspiring activities all around the theme of Being Brave.
We were lucky enough to be visited again by some brilliant external visitors for some activities and and did others with our own class teachers and other members of the school community.
We did yoga with Emma Pierce, made thumb pots in a clay workshop with Zinc Arts and visited Lower Swaines for a very muddy - and great fun - explore with Brambles Forest School.
Mrs O'Donnell and Mrs Taylor, our Chair of Governors, visited classes to read them stories and a number of classes did some baking - Year 2's brownies in particular smelled delicious, others did their mile run, visited their buddies, did mindful colouring and sewing.
As part of the week our Eco Council planned and ran an incredibly successful bake off too, to which we had an amazing 97 entries! The cakes proved very popular at the after school Bake Sale yesterday too!
