Times Tables and Number Fluency

Rapid recall of key number facts is an important foundation for mathematical success. 

Children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 use NumBots to develop fluency with number bonds and early calculation skills. From Year 2 onwards, pupils use Times Tables Rock Stars to practise and consolidate multiplication and division facts. 

Regular practice supports pupils in becoming fluent mathematicians and allows them to focus on more complex mathematical thinking as they progress through the curriculum.
