Year 5 on the Home Front

Year 5 had a great 'World War 2' day at the Royal Gunpowder Mills on Wednesday. We participated in lots of fun activities helping us learn about what life was like during the war.

We were evacuees, went to the shops to find out about rationing, learnt about women at war, experienced an air raid, and learnt to march!

Thank you to all the adults who helped make the trip a success.
