We've been awarded an Eco-Schools Green Flag!

We were delighted this week to be told that after a lot of hard work and we've once again been awarded the Eco Schools Green Flag award!  Having received the full report we are absolutely thrilled to read all the wonderful feedback.

"You have held an impressive amount of Eco-Committee meetings this year, showing great commitment to the cause, and it is fantastic to hear that the Headteacher has been involved in at least one meeting as well. Your Eco-Committee members were elected democratically, which is a fair and mature approach – well done to selected members on their appointment!"

"We love the variety of activities that you and your Eco-Committee have included in the Action Plan. This will no doubt support multi-disciplinary skills and shows how integrated environmentalism is in your school."

"We love just how many pupils benefited from your Eco-Schools work in their day-to-day curriculum. Your Curriculum Links are many and varied, and we are sure that they have helped to inspire your pupils. You have worked with a wide variety of different individuals and organisations, relying on their expertise and passion to enrich and inform your Eco-Schools journey. No doubt this was a mutually beneficial experience for all, as these individuals and organisations must have also been inspired by your dedicated Eco-Committee"

Overall, this is a terrific application. Everyone at Epping Primary School should be proud of the Green Team and the amazing and inspiring work that they’ve delivered this year. You’re more than worthy of your Eco-Schools Green Flag. Congratulations!"
