Success at the Tag Rugby last week

Last week's tag rugby tournament was such a great afternoon, the children worked so hard and were an absolute joy to be around. 

We sent three teams to Upper Clapton Rugby club for a tournament against 5 other local schools. There were a total of 14 teams, put into 2 groups of 7. 
 
Epping A won 5 out of 6 to finish 2nd, Epping B won 3 & drew 1 to finish 3rd and Epping C, made entirely of Yr5 children came 7th after losing all 6 games. 
 
All teams were a credit to the school, showing sportsmanship, perseverance, determination and character in abundance but a special mention to the C team, who played against older children only narrowly getting beaten. 
 
They even gave the A team an early fright, scoring a great try before losing 4-1!
