Match report from the last Year 6 football game of the season

Our Year 6 footballers have had a great season with some excellent football being played, and some wonderful enthusiasm and techniques being demonstrated. Read Mason's report of the last match of the season....

"The game was a fair contest. I took the freekick and I scored our goal. We were 1-0 up. We scored a second goal where I tackled the player and played a through ball to Ralph and he passed it to Jake so he could score a tap in. We were 2-0 up. Then we were seconds away from half time and we made a silly mistake and they scored.

At half time it was 2-1. We kicked off the second half and the ball went over head height, so it was a free kick to them and they scored. 2-2. I kicked the ball away from danger and they had a shot from their half and it went in. Then it was 3-2 to them. We went up, I got the ball crossed it to Jake and he scored 3-3. Then Jake make a tackle and it went in, 4-3. They had a last minute chance and they scored. The game finished 4-4"
