First Aid training for Year 4
Year 4 have taken part in an all-day first aid training course from a St John Ambulance first aider. Throughout the day they learnt how to put somebody into the recovery position, the skill of dressing a wound, effectively dealing with a burn or bleeding, using a bandage and even discussed CPR. For taking part the children received a certificate recognising their first aid training.
