Christmas message from the Friends

Thank you to everyone who supported the Christmas Fayre on 9 December, by baking or crafting in advance, by helping on the day or by coming along, enjoying a festive afternoon and of course spending money! The Fayre raised £4,037.36; a fantastic result meaning that the Friends can help to refresh the reading books used by all children in the school.

Our Christmas tea-towels - featuring self portraits drawn by the children - have now sold out. Sales have raised nearly £700, again a vital contribution to reading books and new maths equipment for all year groups.

You can show your support for the Friends at our final event before Christmas - a bake sale and tuck shop in the playground at 3.15 on the last day of term: buy a cake or treat to take home to celebrate the start of the holidays.
