Book Week and Wear-It-Wild
Book Week
The theme of Book Week was ‘Animals.’
Throughout the week, pupils explored animal poems or stories and had the opportunity to compose their own. Pupils took part in lots of exciting book activities in their classes and storytelling workshops. They brought in their favourite animal book or books by their favourite author to share with their class.
Maple class enjoyed reading in the library this week; they focused on reading with each other and discussing the stories to one another.
They also met up with their buddies to share their favourite animal books with them and talk about the animals in the stories
Wear it Wild day!
On this exciting day, we were supporting ‘Wear it Wild’ in aid of WWF (World Wildlife Fund). Pupils were encouraged to dress as an animal or wear an item of clothing with animal print.
We raised a fantastic £318.70!
Well done and thank you to everyone for their support.
