Year 4's Victorian Experience

Year 4 enjoyed a brilliant Victorian Day yesterday with visitors running a full day workshop to help our Year 4s experience life as a Victorian school child, dressed in traditional Victorian outfits.

The day started with a Victorian style lesson, dunce cap included, which was a bit of a shock to the system for some! 

Followed by a lesson on the British empire, learning a traditional waltz - which they made a great attempt at, singing some popular songs from the era and also trying out some classic playground games, which was a definite highlight! 

Thank you to all the parents and carers who came up with such great costumes, they really helped the children get into the swing of the day.
