Year 4 Ancient Greek Workshop
Year 4 got their togas on and had a very exciting day going back in time to Ancient Greece this week!
They did a range of fun activities, discovered some classic myths and legends, explored the life of Alexander the Great and learned more about the origins of democracy back in Ancient Greece.
Two of the time travellers reported back to us:
"Year 4 dressed up as the Ancient Greeks! We all had some wonderful costumes. After a bit all of us began to line up so that we could go to the hall. When we entered in there was a funny man waiting for us. He taught us all about the Ancient Greeks. We played a game. The game was a simpler version of chess. We had so much fun!"

"Yesterday it was Year 4's Greek day. We had an Ancient Greek workshop all day, we learned lots of things such as what armour the Greeks had to protect themselves. We dressed up in Greek costumes. It was the best day and we got a lot from it"
